Hello, and thank you for getting this far into my portfolio site.
I live in the Laurentian mountains in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Tremblant is about 80 minutes north of Montreal and about 95 minutes east of Ottawa; an all season resort town with one of the best skiing and snowboarding mountains east of the Rockies. I love to snowboard. I also love hiking, camping, and generally being outdoors.
I speak English and French, and I am learning Spanish. Traveling is a passion, I have been to 41 countries. I am very curious about people, different cultures, and history.
As a Canadian, winter is a part of life. So is dreaming about warmer climates. I have a deep affection for the ocean, SCUBA diving, and sailing. I am planning an escape to the Caribbean which involves my family, and a 45' sailboat.
Professionally...I started my photography career in Montreal in 2004 after graduating from Capilano University in North Vancouver. I returned to school to study communications, specifically documentary film. Previously, I was a chef and restaurant owner for 12 years.
My early days in photography were all about photojournalism. Sports, news, reportage...my work started to attract corporate and editorial clients which form the core of my clients today.
I have a passion for people, and love that every day of work is a new challenge, with new faces and places. I am available for assignments worldwide in English and French.
