In the early days of my career I was working to become an established photojournalists. Sports. sports, and more sports. I was invited to photograph a Defi Sportif event in Montreal. Prior to attending I was unaware of the sport of wheelchair fencing. Basically, the two combatants are seated in their respective wheelchairs which are then clipped into a track that hold them in place. All of the moves the athletes make are pretty much upper body. I was captivated by the speed and ferocity of the bouts. I found the frame you see above. and early and longstanding favourite of my sports photography portfolio.

Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada - Final Two Rounds

Over the past weekend, I photographed the PGA Tour Canada stop in Montreal, the Mackenzie Investments Open at Elm Ridge Country Club. Hired directly by the PGA for the second consecutive year, my contract was to document the play of as many players as possible over the two final rounds, and then pick up and follow the leaders into the final holes. Taylor Pendrith, from Richmond Hill, Ontario, won the Open with a tour record final score of 28 under par over 4 days. Below are some of my favourite images from the competition as well as a link to the PGA Tour Canada website.

Yesterday I had the privilege of being the official photographer for the MacKenzie Tour - PGA Canada Tour stop in Montreal. The five day event was held at Elm Ridge Country Club on L'Île-Bizard, in Montreal. The title was taken by Blake Olsen after a deciding playoff with fellow American Corey Pereira. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Audi Canada recently visited Circuit Mont-Tremblant for their week-long Audi Driving Experience. This bi-annual event puts you behind the wheel of some of the most exciting vehicles that Audi makes - R8, RS7, for example. In addition to getting to rip around at dizzying speeds, you also receive some great professional driving instruction. Which, all things considered, is a good thing. Erik Gauy, from Alpine Canada also came by to take some laps.
